Pumpkin Dream Cake with Cinnamon Maple Cream Cheese Frosting

I know its been a very long time since I've posted.  So here's a bit of what's going on here at the Artistic Farmer...
We have new babies.
We have 10 awesome guineas!
And here a skunk's life ended last night after it was eating our wonderful eggs.

Anyway... This recipe is fantastic!  I've made it twice in the last three weeks.

The only changes I made were that I used some Potimarron Squash, also called a French pumpkin from our garden.
I baked the cake in a 9 x 13 baking dish at 350° for about 45 - 50 minutes.  I also only used half the frosting for the first cake and froze the other half to use later.

Its awesome!  Definitely our new pumpkin dessert favorite!  Enjoy!
Queensland Blue
We also have georgeous Turk's Turban and Queensland Blue squash in the garden.  Can't wait to find something great to make with them!
