Turkey Dry Rub

This rub is great, I think it would also be fantastic for a whole chicken and the bird could be cooked in a crock-pot.  Love!

Ingredients:
-1 tbsp garlic powder
-2 tsp seasoned salt
-2 tsp poultry seasoning
-1 tsp salt
-1/2 tsp pepper
-1/4 tsp cayenne pepper
-1/4 tsp basil
-10 to 20 lb. turkey, thawed (if frozen)

Process:
1. Combine all ingredients {except turkey :D}.
2. Rub under the skin of a 10-20 pound turkey.
3. Cover turkey and refrigerate for 24-48 hours. {I put the turkey in a roasting bag.}

4. Place turkey on a roasting pan with a roasting rack.
5. Bake turkey at 325 degrees for 2 hours covered {with foil or in a roasting bag}.
6. Remove foil or roasting bag and bag for 1 1/2-2 hours.
7. Enjoy!
