Cranberry Fruit Sauce

Awesome cranberry sauce!  It can be done in a crock-pot overnight or stove-top the day of; enjoy!

Ingredients:
-1 cup water
-1 cup sugar
-12 oz. fresh cranberries {you could probably use frozen too}
-1 orange, peeled and chopped {or 1 small can of mandarin oranges}
-1 apple, peeled, cored and chopped
-1 pear, peeled, cored and chopped
-1 cup dried mixed fruit {or any dried fruit you like}
-1 cup chopped pecans, optional
-1/2 tsp salt
-1 tsp cinnamon
-1/2 tsp ground nutmeg

Process: {You could also combine all of the ingredients in a crock-pot, covered on low heat, overnight.}
1. In a large saucepan boil water and sugar.
2. Reduce to a simmer, add all other ingredients; stir well.
3. Cover and simmer for about 30 minutes, stirring occasionally.
4. Remove from heat and cool to room temperature or chill.
5. Enjoy!
