Marinated Steak

This is a great steak marinade. 

I do a lot of marinating, because it is such an easy way to tenderize and add fantastic flavor to meat!

Ingredients:
-3 cloves garlic, minced
-1/2 cup soy sauce
-2 tbsp vegetable or canola oil
-2 tbsp ketchup
-1 tsp dried oregano
-1 tsp pepper
-2 lb. steak

Process:
1. Place the steak in a large plastic container or large ziplock bag. {I often start this marinating process without thawing the meat; you just need to start the marinating 2-4 days before you plan to use it}.
2. Gather the other ingredients.
3. Add the marinade ingredients to a medium bowl.
4. Mix the marinade ingredients.
5. Pour the marinade over the meat {here mine was frozen}.
6. Cover and refrigerate.
 
7. Turn the meat in the marinade 24 hours later {mine are now thawed completely}.
8. Preheat outdoor grill or grill pan to medium-high heat.
 9. Add steaks and cook them way you like them.
 10. Remove steaks and let rest for at least 10 minutes before cutting.
 11. Enjoy!
